"Hotel was good, great location next to station, staff were excellent. The room I had bathroom was awkward impossible to get in and out of bathroom without twisting legs and knees. I stayed in hotels of all levels all over Japan. I never had any had a design like this. The size of bathroom small, that did not matter and can be normal in Japan. "Staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke English so if I was not there, my partner that did not speak Japanese would be comfortable speaking with them. Located about 10-15min from Kyoto station was the best since we travelled out often. I would have to say, the bedding and desk had thick layer of dust. The facility did offer coin laundry which helped. "

"10 min walk from Kyoto station. Nearest 7-11 is like 5 min walk away. Close to Aeon (15 min walk ) Shopping mall opposite Kyoto station. They didn't clean our place because we didn't indicate if we wanted to clean. Anyway for 2 nights stay, our room wasn't that dirty. They offered free iced tea and hot water for our maggi mee or drip hot coffee. We ended up eating bkft at the lounge on level 1 before leaving there. My children loved this place.
