Staff is hit or miss - some were great, some were very disinterested. Restaurant was decent but again, great busboy, lousy waitress. Rooms are comfortable but nothing special. "Curry (now Half Dome) village is an unpretentious base for walking in Yosemite Valley. It is right on the spot for early starts, and the simple cabins (I was in a tent cabin) avoid the need for camping equipment. Facilities on site are well run and just what is needed.
