The Evergreen Lodge slightly off the beaten path but SO WORTH IT. Its a gem of a location with everything you need on site. The food is fantastic at the restaurant and tavern, the beds were comfortable and the pool and play area was perfect for the children. If you're debating on staying here, go ahead and book it - you wont regret it.

We loved our stay at Evergreen Lodge. The atmosphere of cabin feel with the added amenities were a pleasant surprise. The staff is very nice amd accommodating. We we traveled to other national parks and Evergreen was the best of all the places and this location is closest to Yosemite as well.

“I stayed here for 5 days and it was such a peaceful escape. The room was spotless, super quiet, and waking up to this view every morning was pure magic. The grounds and accomodations are comfortable without detracting from the beautiful natural surroundings. The pretty cabins tucked into the woods, the quiet peacefulness, the friendly staff, all contributed to our enjoyment of our Yosemite visit.

It'a VERY charming property in the middle of the woods with welcoming staff and fun amenities, especially for kids. My two cents for improvement - while the general store and the coffee shop were great, the restaurant food could see some improvement (the food was pretty bland), especially considering there are no other options nearby. The cabins could use some tlc - ours was a bit dated but clean.
