Yorkshire hotel rooms a the Freetobook

"5 minutes walk from York station! Recommend paying extra for river facing room - patrons from club accross the street get very noisy at night. "

"Great room - used the upgrade option. Air con temp a bit tricky to control, be nice to see options for pillows like other hotels do. Opted out of housekeeping in exchange for drink form bar was a nice touch. "

"we had a very nice large twin room for our 1 night stay and it was really comfy. the only negative was there was only a net curtain up at the bathroom window and as it was at the front of the hotel there was something of a privacy issue.but that aside we would stay there again."

"This was a great stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Despite there being a sign up on arrival that there was a private event with music till midnight… I didn’t hear a thing, the rooms are nice and quiet, the pool was lovely to wind down in after a busy day, and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice, fresh and was replenished often. Parking is £7 for each night, and there is a bus stop on the opposite side of the road just outside the hotel to take you into York, the bus’s are every 15...

"I have to admit this was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It was tastefully decorated, staff were friendly but not in your face and the feel was quiet luxury. The room was lovely too."
