Celebrate and learn about the World of Coca-Cola in the city where it was invented.

Located at Pemberton Place, named for Dr. John Pemberton who invented the drink in 1886, the World of Coca-Cola opened in May 2007 and since then, more than a million guests have visited each year. Conveniently located near the Georgia Aquarium and Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta, visitors here have the opportunity to see rare pieces of art, such as original Norman Rockwell paintings and a myriad of memorabilia related to the brand.

To find out more about the company, head to The Milestones of Refreshment exhibit. Here you will find the document selling the rights to bottle Coca-Cola to two men from Chattanooga, Tennessee for $1. This is where you will find the vault room where Coca-Cola's top-secret recipe is rumoured to be here under lock and key. The Loft which is nearby is covered with posters and promotional material from over a hundred years of advertising.

Guests can walk through the world’s smallest and slowest bottling line, Bottle Works, and see how Coca-Cola is produced in classic 8 oz. glass bottles. You can take home a complimentary bottle once you've finished the tour.

On the second floor, you will find “In Search of the Secret Formula” which takes place in a 4-D cinema where you watch the show with 3-D glasses and sit in motion-based seats. But the most popular part of the experience has to be Taste It, the famous sampling area where visitors can try over 100 flavours produced around the world by The Coca-Cola Company. The World of Coca-Cola is open every day except Christmas Day and Thanksgiving. The admission price comes with free tastings and a commemorative bottle. Pay to park in the museum's car park, or catch the train - two stations: Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center and Peachtree Center are a 10 minute walk from the museum.
