Visayan Islands hotel rooms a the Independent

"Good location with private beach and 5 minute taxi to town. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet was amazing. We got the halfboard and it was a good deal and plenty of good meal options. We will stay again if we return. "

"Our room was very spcacious with a large, comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. The room was very quiet at night. There is a large wardrobe but only 3 hangers and no real drawer space in the room which wasnt ideal. Note they will only service your room if you contact reception and ask. The pool areas had a good variety of different types of seating in the sun and the shade. The hotel is beside the windy beach so ideal for wind surfers or kite surfers. There is a shuttle to and from DMall but it is less than a 5 minute walk so we walked there and back each night. The breakfast buffet was large and varied"

"Lovely hotel with large beach area and 3 different pools facing the beach. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Bar areas beside the pool are nice but not the coolest as there aren't many fans and no air conditioning. The room was very large with a nice balcony facing the sea. The bed was very large and comfortable and the bathroom was very spcaciius with good room for clothes in the wardrobes and drawers. We ate at night in one of the bars at night which served fries, pizza, burgers etc. The food and service was good here also but a bit warm. The breakfast buffet was very large and varied with a food variety of food for different nationalities. There isnt much around the hotel to see, so it is somewhere to stay on site and enjoy the facilities."

"Spacious room. Gorgeous private beach view with coconut trees! Love the balcony with a table, 2 chairs, & 1 outdoor lounge chair. Buffet dinner is very delicious with nice beach view. "

"This is the nicest resort we have stayed in LapuLapu Philippines. It’s not so crowded, plenty of places to sit , relax and enjoy great scenery. Swimming pools are very nice , food is great . Rooms are very very nice , updated or new looking , smell nice , I have nothing at all bad to say . We will be back for sure !!!!"
