"Reasonable price for Philadelphia. Parking was more affordable than many hotels but was 2 blocks away and did not like walking alone from garage at night. Room was small and bed was smaller than expected. But overall room was nice. Staff was incredibly nice. They have complimentary happy hour with yummy cookies. Weird thing is that if you are not out of your room by 12:15 pm, they charge you for the next day."

"Granted my stay at the Roost was lovely and a great way to bring in the new year, I have been charged at least 4 times on multiple cards since my NYE stay. Speaking with management was synonymous to speaking to a wall. Every time they refund me for charging me twice, they charge me again. It has been the most cumbersome and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had in dealing with repeated transactions. Although I enjoyed my stay at the time, I will never be residing at the East Market location...
