"Although I was on business and did not have time to enjoy the Spa facilities or pool more than twice in my stay I enjoyed the pool when I used it. Many people may not realise that behind the hotel is a fabulous maritime forest which I have enjoyed in the past. The walk to the beach may be longer but my business was close by so this was ideal."

"Most of the elements of our stay were great. The room was quite nice, with great wi-fi, TV, etc. It had a fridge, though a small one. The batroom as nice and clean. We had a nice balcony with chairs, facing the wooded area. Cafes and restaurants were quite nice. The buffet breakfast was really great. The spa area were nice as well. "

"This medieval castle is owned and operated by a private family who do a marvelous job of getting every thing just right. I was quiet overwhelmed by the ambience which is why I added 2 more nights on to the original booking of 4 nights. Also they brew their own beer which I found very good. The restaurant facilities are quit extensive and provide excellent food and service which is why they have many visitors from around the island for lunch and dinner. "The hotel was having some decoration work doing to it whilst on our visit. The work was contained, but we were welcomed by a lady who was using the hoover and didn’t stop and made us feel in the way! Breakfast: good New TV delivered one day in our room & woke us up as it was programmed with an alarm at midnight! Annoying ! We spoke to room service and the front desk 4 times over 2 days as our air conditioning stopped working. They kept saying they had fixed it & they hadn’t, also annoying....
