I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Holiday Inn IHG in Trophy Club from February 14th through February 16th. The experience was far below the standards I expected from an IHG property.
The primary issue was that the toilet in our room (217) never worked properly. I brought this to the attention of the front desk, expecting a prompt resolution. Instead of having the maintenance team address the problem, I was told there was no plunger available, and the front desk receptionist was sent to bring one up. This was highly unprofessional and inconvenient, as it’s reasonable to expect a functioning restroom in a hotel room.
What was most disappointing, however, was the complete lack of empathy and accountability from the staff. The front desk employee mentioned that he would call the maintenance man, but this never happened. There was no apology, no offer to move us to a different room, and no effort to make the situation right. We felt ignored and dismissed rather than valued as guests.
This level of service is unacceptable, and I believe a refund for my stay is more than warranted. I am requesting a full refund for my stay from February 14th through February 16th. Please contact me directly to discuss how this issue can be resolved promptly.
I hope that management takes this feedback seriously and implements better training and support to ensure no other guests have to endure such poor treatment. I look forward to hearing from someone soon to address this matter
