"Honestly wasn’t sure what to expect based on a few other reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the area doesn’t look safe, however the property is surrounded by cameras and the parking lot is so bright at night. Staff was amazing, let us check in 2 hours early, may be different during peak season. I would recommend this hotel"

"This is one our favorite places to visit in Gatlinburg. Older lodge with character. Large rooms some with fireplaces and a balcony overlooking a babbling creek. Great for sleeping!!"
