"One of the few hotels I could find with a 24-hour reception desk. We took a very late train into town, and the hotel we originally booked had no way of accommodating us if we arrived after 10:00 pm. "

"The room was very basic. We booked a 4 bed room (because that’s all was available) but when we checked in it was a small 2 bed room. No amenities in the room such as tea/coffee. Quite expensive for the facilities."

"The staff was great"

"For two the room was a good size, the shower was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Staff were all really friendly. The continental breakfast was lovely, a good selection of pastries, meats, cheese and cereals. The coffee was decent too. Disappointed on our last morning we were told breakfast opens at 06:15, we waiting to 06:30 and still not open and unfortunately we had to leave for our flight. There are no immediate amenities in the area if you are going to be out of the hotel all...

"Staff were prompt and courteous. Make sure your GPS is up to date to avoid road closures around the area. The room was very spacious, clean, and quiet. Breakfast simple but was great!"

"Brilliant location and wonderful house. Welcome was bordering on rude, however, and booked room was "not available because of an error". Staff was not very solution-oriented. The only exception was the very smiling lady who attended the breakfast room."

"Für den Self Check in unbedingt den Code mitnehmen! Das Restaurant hatte leider an zwei Abenden zu, man muss auswärts essen. Wenn das Restaurant geöffnet hat muss man unbedingt dort essen gehen, es ist eine wunderbare, lebhafte Dorfkneipe mit gutem Essen."

"Beautiful area"

"We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday. All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!"
