"Lovely B&B, great location about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Bath. We had to Orchid room which was in the basement so quite dark but big room, pretty clean. The first night we had an awful sleep because the bed was so creaky!! I pulled it away from the wall on the second night and it was slightly improved. Staff seemed friendly although we didn’t have much interaction with them apart from checking in/checking out. I would return despite a few little niggles "

"Wasnt expecting much but due to price comparison for a city centre hotel outweighed booking this 'guest house", my expectations went straight out of the window. Clean, very friendly and excellent service, both business people and families, suits all in this hidden gem within the city centre."

"I have stayed several times at this hotel and everytime the stay has been very comfy with welcoming staff who are very accomodating. Lovely and clean throughout comfy beds and lovely hot power showers. I have only had breakfast for one of the stays but there was plenty of choice and all was delicious. I would definitely return. "

"We stayed her during the Bath Christmas markets. The hotel was great. The room was excellent, very clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but still nice enough. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The complimentary umbrellas by the front door were a nice touch. My main issue with our stay was the extortionate price. We paid £620 (reduced from £688 due to an Expedia deal), for a two night stay in a deluxe king park view room, admittedly...

"We love this place! This was our 3rd stay, and we will keep coming back! Bridget and the Team are lovely, the dog friendly rooms are fab (and spacious) and set in their own oak framed building within the grounds (so nice and quiet if you want to retreat early, or have an undisturbed lie-in 😊. "Literally everything was amazing and such a nice stay, beds were actually quite comfy, having the TV on the wall was nice, good storage space. Brilliant. Only bad thing was the bathroom wasn’t suuuper clean; there was blood around the sink drain and little hairs littered around. Other than that, brilliant."

"Great room, just as described. Another comfy chair in the room for 2nd person would have been nice."

"It was terrible!!! Can’t contact anyone to get the key!!!They are not organized !!! Even finally have someone answer the phone and give me the lock box number and that was no key inside!!! We waited two hours have no one call us back !!! At the end we go to another Inn to stay!!! We need our MONEY BACK "

"I've only one minor niggle, that being the shower. It took a long time to warm up and the pressure was weak. The hosts were brilliant. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful. I definately think it was value for money! Thankyou!"

Exactly what we needed for a break near family

"All staff were polite, helpful and friendly. Plenty for an express breakfast but ran out of granola and baps by the middle of the week. Room was well equipped and a very comfy bed. Overall exactly what we needed for a city break near family. "

"Set in the countryside the building is very impressive. There is ample parking but due to the hotels popularity one may have to walk a fair distance to get to the entrance. The entrance hall with its staircase is very impressive. On checking in the friendly receptionist gives you a map so you can find your room. This is a vital document as the route to ones room is a maze. We were upgraded and had a suite on two floors. Arriving late we had dinner in the Atrium. The food was good. The next morning we had breakfast in the Restaurant which was excellent. Prior to leaving we walked round the grounds which every guest should see."
