"Host (James) was really nice and welcoming. I had a single room with its own bathroom which was perfect and clean - it had everything - tv, shower sink and toilet - a small built in wardrobe to hang clothes, a desk and chair and a bed with a bedside table. There was a good selection of teas and coffees and was given fresh milk for the room on arrival. Location was a short 10-15 minute walk into the city centre and its even closer to the seafront (hoe). "Absolutely loved this hotel. Receptionist on check in was very helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. The room was fabulous, one huge room with queen bed and a totally separate room with a single bed and basin. Having a partner who snores like a freight train, the separate bedroom was a godsend. "We were put in a basement room with a view of back yard with dirty doors etc. .no hair dryer or Iron. Luckily we asked for one at reception but had to walk 100 yrds to do that. .door didn't close properly so could hear all noise. Toilet flush from next rooms was very loud. Also terrible creaking floorboards from rooms above. Parking was limited on street and was pay and display which was expensive for 24 hours. We were not far from beach so that was a bonus. "No one there to check in @ 14.30 Rang the number, no answer. Called again at 15.30 no answer Called again at 17.30 to be told we’re closed, you don’t have a booking. Couldn’t care less. Absolute joke. Not to mention trying to find somewhere else to stay at 17.30 on a bank holiday. We had to go way beyond our budget to find somewhere, to say it took the shine off is a bit of an understatement Will never recommend you or your services to anyone. "
