Family friendly Hotels in Seaside, California

"We had a corner room in the building on the street behind the main property. There was a large patio with amazing views of the town and the ocean. Even though it was January, we still sat outside to watch the sunset. On a chillier evening, we lit the fireplace for a cozy winter evening. The location is terrific - walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping in the town of Carmel. Typical free breakfast, but good enough to get a start on the day. The room was clean and quiet. I do wish the chairs, both at the table outside and the table inside, had been more comfortable. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Portola. It is centrally located to the wharf and downtown, super easy to park your car and walk everywhere. It’s a little bit of a walk to the aquarium but it’s a beautiful walk along the trail if you’re up for it. We loved the promenade right outside the lobby with a cafe, wine bar, bike rental shop, etc. which were super convenient. We would definitely stay at Portola again. "

"I booked a very last minute stay about 15 minutes before I arrived at 9 PM. The check in process was quick and easy, the clerk was nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. I appreciate its convenient location near Whole Foods and the restaurants / shopping in Del Monte Center. The location was also quiet."
