" Check in was a Breeze and the room (1 king bed) was large and very clean. The food was good and for Vail reasonably priced, Front desk help was fantastic. The room itself was a bit dated but overall, I would recommend the Evergreen lodge. "

"Sergio the bartender was very personable and welcoming even though we checked in right before the bar close, he was still willing to help us get drinks and food and get settled in. Front desk staff was also very helpful checking us in and he helped us select a quiet room. Rooms are a tad dated, shower curtains are frayed at the top and some of the wallpaper is peeling at the edges just little things, certainly no dealbreakers. "Sonnenalp is a great family owned hotel. It does have what seems like very low ceilings, so it makes it feel less luxurious, but it is still a wonderful property with kind staff. The room was very warm & would not cool down without opening the windows, and that was frustrating, but overall was a very nice experience. "
