My stay at Comfort Inn was great until checkout. I was told that I had to pay $9.97 unpaid tax because I booked through Expedia. One day after check-out, and returning both card keys, I received a bill from Comfort Inn for $157.97 for an additional day's stay. I was furious. When I called Comfort Inn I was told I stayed an extra day. I told them that I had returned both keys. They said there was no manager on duty and couldn't do anything about it. They texted the manager and told me I would be contacted the following Monday. I told them that I'd be flying back to New York state and might not be available. One day later the additional charge was removed. The issue was resolved satisfactorily, but nevertheless was unnerving.

we have come to Comfort Inn for the last 5 or 6 years. access to Beaver Creek skiing, location of I 70 are pluses . This year there seems to be a change in ownership. New ownership is not keeping the location up. Scrapes in vinyl fabric, shower handle loose, shelves coming off wall , sidewalk falling apart all show a lack of maintenance and reinvestment. They are now in a stage of milking the property. Sad

This hotel is way over priced. The hand rail in the shower pulled off the wall when slightly leaning on it, the room next to us had dogs that barked, the toilet kept loosing water and refilling all night, and there was a constant high pitch whistle outside our window.

I loved it. No frills lodging but with all the ski amenities needed. Breakfast in the AM & a quick shuttle ride to Beaver Creek Resort to be on sky slopes in no time. The shuttles ran like clock work too. It was perfect for our needs.

For longer stays, you'll appreciate the nearby Walgreens and liquor store, both within walking distance. They offer complimentary breakfast, which is a great way to kickstart your day. Comfort Inn is right off the highway.If this is a big deal to. you, only downside of the hotel. You may hear highway traffic from time to time. SUPER close to Vail and BEAVER. Extremely affordable compared to surrounding resort hotels. Bilingual hard working friendly staff. Elevators worked. Pool and Jacuzzi were fine. Parking free and easy. All kinds of shopping and restaurants in walking distance and close to drive to say....The Dusty Boot. We ate there -definately recommend that too. Pretty drive up the hill and seeing unbelievable properties and trees.
