Rooms could use a good disinfecting. I wear my socks on the floor and had to bleach them when I got home. That shouldn’t happen in a two day stay.

Had to call maintenance to fix TV. No good directions to public parking lot and parked in a different parking lot. At least water in the lobby but they should offer free coffee in the lobby in the morning. Front desk was not overly friendly.

I like the proximity , convenience, & walking distance to the Mayo Clinic I love the pool and hot tub. I love that Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is on your lower level Lobby now That was a nice surprise. I did not like the smaller rooms I did like the price of the rooms. They were clean. Also check-in was a breeze

The biggest downfall was the noise from the heating ac units located on the outside of the building it was noticeable all night long, making it difficult to sleep. I would suggest that if you are staying aak for a room facing the street might not be as loud, other then that all seemed ok

Electricity went out in a wide area. No fault of Kahler Grand. Off about 3 hours on Thursday. No TV from mid afternoon until I checked out around 1 pm. By myself and nothing else to do.

The convenience to Mayo was fantastic! Once we had valet park our car we didn’t need to drive again until time to leave. Our only complaint was the elevators are small which made a tight fit with a power wheelchair. Our room was a tight fit too but that’s our fault as we didn’t book a wheelchair accessible room. We would definitely stay here again for the convenience!

This hotel was right at the Mayo Clinic which was very convenient. The hotel still has the charm from back in the day but could use an update. Overall we have no complaints and would probably stay here again.

If you're needing to stay at Mayo, this is a great option. It's clean, updated rooms, comfy beds (lower to ground for easy transfer if in a chair), nice bathroom. What isn't great is the layout of this hotel, it's so under labeled and easy to get lost and hard to find main desk, pool, etc. parking rp isn't ideal - no one answered when we tried buzz in, so we swiped the credit card. You're also charged parking with check in so be careful. Parking ramp is small and smelly. There's a nice drop off area out front of the hotel, and they do have valet parking (for additional charge). In room coffee isn't great. Nice mini fridge go bring your own snacks, leftovers, or breakfast items. We'll stay elsewhere next time since we don't need to be close to Mayo, likely somewhere without multiple banks of elevators and with free parking.

Ac didn't work, we had to call 4times asking for extra pillows before they brought them up. The hot tub was broken, you have to pay for parking we were promised two rooms together and they weren't together at all.. it was not a good experience I've had better look at cheap little hotels I will not be coming back to the hotel, now will the 4 other people I was with
