"I love visiting New Orleans during NYE and I can honestly say that the best place to stay is Bourbon Orleans Hotel. It’s conveniently centered in the French Quarter and walking distance to restaurants and shops. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The rooms with the balcony are worth it and the noise is not too bad at night. Staff was friendly and service was great. The hotel itself has rich history and has been renovated several times. I didn’t know this at first, however, it is known to be a “haunted” hotel. I’ve stayed here several times and can’t say I’ve encountered anything myself. "

"The Westin has won our hearts for future stays in the French quarter. Amazing staff, comfortable room and amazing views. Best bed - the heavenly Westin bed. The Observatory check in area is an outstanding place to hang out late afternoon before evening activities , or any other time, with nightly live music, great snacks and drinks to spend the $30.00 per night destination fee and the best views of the Mississippi River anywhere. We will be back soon! "
