Maybe the pan is over-used, the omelette didn’t come out visually presentable. The chicken sausage appeared twice in a row, not everyone is a fan of chicken sausage. Some popular items like bread (to be toasted) and watermelon were not replenished. It would be good for the management to understand which breakfast item is a hit or a miss."

"This is easily one of the best hotel in Batam, the view is amazing! We are going to stay here again on Christmas and New year! But the breakfast is horrible, I am sorry but all the cakes are hard and cold. Maybe if there’s pancake made fresh and warm bread with cheese that will be wonderful. I don’t even see oranges offered, food are so little at a time so it always runs out. The taste of the food is also not on par with other similar hotel. It’s a shame because the decor and the hotel itself...

"The hotel is under renovation so we could not stay there. Called hotels.com but was put on hold for a ridiculous 92minutes. Agent said will look for a vacancy nearby the amir hotel and get back to me, but did not get back to us after waiting for close to 2 hours. Walk in to a nearby hotel and was immediately offered a room. Waste my time, international call time, money and most importantly ruined the trip for me and my girlfriend. I wish to speak to the higher up of hotels.com for compensation."
