"Beautiful on site. Gorgeous room friendly staff the parking garage not being connected is a bit of a bummer and while I think that you should never have to pay for parking at a hotel, the fee at the garage is relatively fair."

"Pleasantly surprised!! Staff was wonderful and the property looked like it should be in the middle of Fremont street in Vegas, classic but without the massive crowds and smoke. Relaxing and good food options. Loved the free parking and skywalk ramps to the lobby, as it was December. The options to dine or drink til 3am was especially helpful as we all arrived from southern CA at 10pm. Did not realize the Cesar rewards points must be obtained with the restaurant directly as the rewards desk does not add points with receipts like MGM rewards does. Have stayed at a couple of the other casino hotels in Reno but liked El Dorado especially the proximity to walk around downtown and short drive to mid-town stores. Will definitely come back when in Reno. "

"I stay at about 30/40 hotels a year from budget hotels to nice resorts, most are fine, but occasionally I have a really good experience and this was one of them. I travel a lot for work and since I don't have much of a home life, and stuck away for Christmas eve and Christmas day I splurged for the room with the bar in it and access to the club bar on the upper floor. The room was spacious, well decorated, well appointed, decent sound deadening quality, (and the hotel was crowded that night so the sound deadening was well tested) and the room HVAC system had easy to adjust temperature settings, maintained consistent temperatures and quite operations. The bathroom was also was perfectly designed with good room to move around, toilet at the right height, (I'm 5'9 so inbetween most female and male height) decent shower pressure and quick temperature adjustment. Bench in shower makes it easier for people to shave legs and to properly wash their feet, if so desired. I ordered room service both nights and the food was quick and delicious, and moderately priced. The upper floor bar had tasty hors d'oeuvres, good wine, and beautiful views of the city. The gym was also well appointed with a good array of cardio and muscle training machines to get a full body work out. No free weight bench but two good quality benches with dumbells up to 50lbs. All the machines were both good quality and in good working order. Finally, parking was easy and Casino was fun. "
