Rancho Bernardo hotel rooms a the Motel 6

"Am reviewing to get Expedia to stop nagging me for a review. I brought my dog to this Motel 6 as it is pet friendly and I am trying to train him that it's okay to leave home for adventures as my former dogs were not all that adventurous. (He was a trooper and did great!) It's a Motel 6, people! It's no more or less than that. The room was fine, other than I hoped for a small coffee pot as most places I've stayed had one in the room, but that was easily remedied by a trip to a store to...

"Let's be honest kids it's rated a two-star hotel and it's called motel 6. It used to be $6 to stay here in 1962, but you know what? The Carlsbad Motel 6 Beach motel is a great value. Walking distance to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. If you're looking for value and safety, it's a great place to stay. Also, it's pet friendly. We stayed here many times, and have had no issues."

"I would not consider myself a Motel 6 kind of person. However, the high ratings for this particular location pushed it to high on the search results and I needed a room for only about 6 hours while in town for the holidays. The rate was attractive and I decided to give it a shot. The check-in attendant was very nice and polite. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft and clean. I'd give it another go on a future trip. "
