"We loved the traditional nature of the property and of course its position in relation to the lake. It is really handy for everything and the views off the balcony are excellent. I enjoyed a nice swim although it is just a pool for relaxation really and not large enough for proper swimming. Hot tub with a view lovely though. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we wanted to explore the town, so can’t comment on food more generally....

"Don’t let the term hostel deter you from booking this wonderful hotel. While they do have bunk rooms with shared bathrooms, we booked a beautiful room with ensuite bath. It was quiet and extremely clean. The location of the hotel is walkable from train or bus stations and is in the heart of the historic area of a lovely town. "Close enough to walk to anything and everything Lake Bled has to offer yet just enough removed from the business of Lake Bled during the summer. Breakfast was fantastic We were given great suggestions for things to do in and around Bled. The laundry service was greatly appreciated (24 hours between clothes being dropped off and being washed, folded and returned to us for 15 EUR) If we ever return to Bled we will come back here!"
