"I just needed a bed and a clean room and got it here. It's pretty bare bones but it does the trick. There's no drinking water available which is kind of annoying but I guess they're saving on costs where they can. Bring ear plugs. I chose this place in part to avoid the 5th Avenue noise but there's a bar blasting music within ear shot. "

"I gotta say this is the best little hotel in Playa Del Carmen. It's a sweet little secret of a spot! It's close to EVERYTHING, the main street (Quinta Avenida), the beach, the bus station, pick up spots for tours, convenience stores, and tons of tasty local food. "The hotel is half under construction, the rooftop patio could be so much more but, generally, the hotel seems kinda abandoned. Good area but do not expect quiet as there are roosters across the pedestrian street (which allows cars) and a club nearby is very noisy until about 1 or 2am. Staff was friendly and tried to accommodate. Rooms clean and amenities work."
