"Nice hotel, great location at an intersection with bakeries, cafes, and restaurants near. Mass transit close. Catacombs entrance was close too and that is the highlight of our trip so far. The ONLY thing that was less than great was the beds were a bit stiff, causing me (admittedly an older fellow), to wake up with a stiff back."

"The entire staff at this quiet hotel is EXCELLENT. They were helpful on everything from ordering a taxi to setting out place settings on the tables in the evening if we brought in a take-out order. The rooms are very small, good for 1 person, a bit tight for 2, but manageable. The corner rooms on each floor (I think they are the 3rd ones on each floor (ie, 103, 203, etc) are larger. "Our stay at Hotel Apostrophe went very well . Great front desk staff. Room a little tight but bed comfortable, clean, convenient location. We only had breakfast once and I know French eat only bread / croissants and coffee but we’d have appreciated some cheese or other protein. "

"We spent 6 pleasant nights at the Saint Beuve and would stay again. All staff, front desk, housekeeping and breakfast, we’re all pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice shower and bath robe and slippers. We enjoyed their full continental breakfast every morning. Two different metro stops were about a five minute walk from the hotel. Well done and thank you."

"Hotel has a nice restaurant and romantic setting. The room was big enough for two people. They are doing construction so it looks a little scary when you first arrive and have to walk through. Overall I will definitely stay next time I'm in town."

Best European hotel we’ve ever stayed

"My husband and I were in Paris for 4 days for a winter vacation. First, Laurent and Maria Teresa at the front desk were amazingly friendly and helpful. The entire staff were. The rooms were perfectly clean and the way they are set up is very clever. Felt more like a high end condo than a hotel room. We loved it. The location of the hotel is far enough from a main street to be quiet but close enough to easily access anything we needed, including a supermarket called monoprix that has a whole basement grocery area. There are numerous train stations within a 10 minute walk, including one for the RER train that goes directly to Versailles. And the river is only a 10 minute walk away. The decor of the hotel is fresh and cool. Has all of the extras that go into a high end hotel. Paris is a great city to explore and coming “home” to this hotel was a real pleasure. Some rooms face the square, which would be lovely, but ours faced an equally beautiful building, on a side street that was nice and wide so that we got plenty of blue sky and sun light. It was great to be able to open the windows. Breakfast was just right for us and we ate there every morning (eggs bacon fruit pastries, etc). But there are restaurants all over the area. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, but so close to St. Germain that you get the best of both worlds. Everything about this hotel was top notch but without being snooty, if you know what I mean. We will definitely return! "

"Excellent location, easily reached from the Eurostar and away from the tourist honeypot of central Paris. The hotel had everything you need, friendly staff, self catering, and clean comfortable room s. The local area is packed with local cafés, restaurants and bars, in a lovely area of cobbled streets. Highly recommend "

"Very nice stay for our first time in Paris. The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. Room service was also very good, to include very very good pizza. The breakfast was pretty light and not really worth it in my opinion, but I believe French culture does not really eat heavy breakfast like Americans do, this is to be expected in a different country for different norms. Still, very clean and organized. Where this hotel shines is the luxurious rooms, amenity spaces, and very top notch food available for room service. A bar was also available but I didn’t experience it. The surrounding areas of the hotel are also very nice to include some great food and shopping within 30 minutes of walking distance. I would highly recommend for tourist and local residents. The staff also speaks English very well so it was a little easier to communicate as a foreigner."
