"Lone pine is a nice place to stay for a quiet vacation, some extra pool chairs wouldn’t go astray… the room had a very mouldy smell due to humidity and constant air conditioning and they tried to help with a different room but they were all the same - they could try cleaning the air con filters… breaky was good, staff were nice but limited English… they had lots of meetings and a wedding while we were there which was a slight inconvenience but, when you pay for a boutique hotel you expect a bit...

"We stayed in Rasaya wing, as we always go for a suite. The room size, layout, the ambience everything was perfect. The access to the lounge was a bonus that we didn’t expect. The staff were fantastic. The only downside was the quality of the vegetarian options. What we ordered for in room dining was totally unpalatable even with hungry stomach. Looks like they have no idea about vegetarian cooking. I did speak to the Chef and the manager about this. Because we would like revisit this property...

Excellent option for those who are not vegetarians

"We stayed in Rasaya wing, as we always go for a suite. The room size, layout, the ambience everything was perfect. The access to the lounge was a bonus that we didn’t expect. The staff were fantastic. The only downside was the quality of the vegetarian options. What we ordered for in room dining was totally unpalatable even with hungry stomach. Looks like they have no idea about vegetarian cooking. I did speak to the Chef and the manager about this. Because we would like revisit this property for a longer duration. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the E&O hotel, the surroundings were lovely and it had such an old school luxury charm. All dining areas were lovely and the club lounge for cocktail hour added something extra special. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I would recommend this to anyone who would like to stay in a hotel with such history and good service. "
