"A great hotel on top of the hill. Nancy greeted us and what's apped me to see if we need assistance with our luggage from train station. It's only 7 minutes walk to train station and maybe 5 minutes to bus station to Macchu Picchu. A great locations to shops and restaurants. A 17 minutes walk up " hot Springs" and " Macchu Picchu waterfall". Unfortunately the later was closed to the weather. During our two days stay here we only got a bit of rain. "Fabulous stay at Belmond Monasterio! Check in was easy and the staff were personable and professional. We felt welcomed and valued as a client. Our room was upgraded to a suite with a semi-private courtyard. Fabulous room. Great amenities in room. Music in the bar in the evening with a wood fire burning. Dinner in hotel was good. Breakfast had good variety and quality. Staff is wonderful. They go out of their way to be helpful. Tea station available all day. Oxygen in room helped with altitude....
