"We had an unexpected change to our travel itinerary and we're really grateful the Hotel Villa Mayor had availability. We had a double room (2 twin beds). The location is unbeatable. It's right on the main square. No hoofing it up a hill to get to your room. It was a nice small, clean room with an incredible location. The only downside was the noise level. "This place is unreal! We booked for 2 nights in the lead up to a hike and was so pleasantly surprised by the guest house. The rooms are dated but clean and have everything you need. Breakfast included was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace to enjoy our morning coffee. Location is also great, so close to many great cafes and restaurants short walk to the main square. "We stayed for 2 nights our bed was comfortable, room was cleaned both days, the staff was exceptionally welcoming . Marelis she really cares about her guests and she was so kind to help us on any request. The terrace for breadkfast is nice and the food is eggs , fruit , bread , coffee and juice. "Son una ESTAFA , cuando llegamos al lugar supuestamente ellos ya no eran los dueños y no eran los dueños , pero lo más que hablamos con ellos nos dimos cuenta que si lo eran y que estaban encargados de la propiedad y que solo decidieron darle a nuestra habitación a otras personas . Si no fue que expedía nos da la opción de pagar en el lugar hubiéramos pagado dos veces . Tenga cuidado antes de hacer una reservación con este lugar en específico."

"This was a beautiful apartment very close to the lima airport. Unfortunately there is no fridge or kitchen, but still a great place to stay for a night or two! They arranged my pick up and drop off and beautiful & friendly Mary was at the front to greet me when i arrived and send me on my way the next day. I'll be sure to recommend this place to others and visit again on my next trip :)"

"Casona La Recoleta is a wonderful place to stay at Cusco. My spouse became ill from the altitude sickness upon arrival. The staff immediate tested her blood oxygen level and offered an emergency oxygen tank to relieve her symptoms. My spouse kept on and off the oxygen without success of bringing her blood oxygen level up on her own. We ran out of the oxygen in the middle of the night, and the 24-hr onsite staff helped with another tank while I was trying to book a flight to get us down to Lima...

"This place has a lot of potential but it's lacking in many areas. I give it 2.5 out 5 stars but with some easy fixes it could be 4 or 5 star stay. The property is beautiful with flowers, trees, grass and cacti, the view is great overlooking the sea and pool, the service provided by the family that lives on site is great, nice breakfast, but overall comfort is lacking.
