At first glance the property seemed fine and the staff onsite seemed friendly enough. The main issue is with the actual administration that is running this hotel. First night I checked in for my stay there was NO hot water in the whole building in what was one of the coldest cold fronts to face the Orlando area in the last 50 years. NO WHERE did they let any guests know before checking in or did they try to warn you about the situation in order foy you as a guest to be well prepared for what you'd be walking in to. Me and my partner checked in late and when we arrived at our room it was already 10 pm, check-in was smooth through their mobile app but again, NO WARNINGS.
When we finally settled in our room that was when we found out their was no water. I then proceeded to start a live chat with their agents via Sonder mobile app and it took them over two hours to let me know the issue was a busted water pipe that cause the WHOLE BUILDING to not have any hot water. I asked them that how long will it take for them to fix it and they advised it would be fixed in the following morning. LIES!! By the next AFTERNOON my partner and I decided to give up waiting and tried to create another chat in order to cancel the remainder of the stay. In order to keep this short and fit within the max, I was given the runaround by both expedia and wonder. Never received my refund and had to leave that hotel and pay for another hotel with Marriot out of pocket. PLEASE BEWARE and reconsider here.
