North Metro East hotel rooms a the Independent

"Hotel was perfectly located for what we wanted to do while in town. Very walkable to Union Station, Busch Stadium and Energizer Park (across the street) for soccer. There was even a nice park close by to take our morning walks in. Really liked the undercover self-parking that was available. Something you don't always find in a downtown hotel. "

"Visited from Washington state, our stay was terrific and the staff were polite & helpful. Our only negative takeaway, the bathroom door is barn style and just would not stay closed. This left a crack in the door way which was closest to the main door. This door provided absolutely no privacy. :-/"

"feels very new inside room-new fixtures, nice tile in bath, beds firm and comfortable, bedding good, pillows too firm for me. quiet. excellent continental bkfst with eggs, biscuits/gravy, browned sausage patties, waffles, cereals, breads - muffins, fruit, juices, coffee, teas. nice staff."

"Excellent short stay for a Cardinals game. Perfect location. We really appreciated the assistance of the evening valet, I think his name was Kevin, who suggested and arranged a golf cart shuttle to Busch Stadium. Very comfortable, fresh room. My only suggestion for all the 21c hotels is an update to the body/hand wash with its foul smelling “rum” fragrance reminiscent of a 1970s disco filled with wafting musk aftershave 😉"
