"Not my first choice "

"Motel has pool and exercise room. Bed very comfortable. WiFi is good. TV has many options. Says you can get broadcast ABC. But there is a disconnect between the "Guide" and what you actually get. Could not get ABC, NBC, or CBS national news. Check-in and check-out were very efficient. "

"Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Linens and towels smelled amazing! Quiet, other than some street noise. Very tall windows which were unable to be covered completely so room was not dark at night. Bed was too hard for my liking. Nobody was at front desk at all during our stay. Keys were left on front counter in an envelope. A bit of a safety issue in my opinion. No deadbolt on door of room, just a small flip lock."

"Our room was very clean and well decorated. The reception area was very cute with snacks, water and coffee available. Will definitely stay there again. "

"We really enjoyed our evening away at Green Tree Inn! We were coming down south for car show in Alton but we were looking for a unique place to stay close by and Green Tree exceeded our expectations. The owners are a delight. Room was comfortable and classy. Breakfast and afternoon treat was delicious. Felt like a home away from home. If we have the opportunity to come back we deffinitely will. "

"This is a historic hotel. The common areas and the restaurant are great. Our room was very small and tired. The bathroom had been remodeled and was very nice. The rest of the room needed a major overhaul. The wiring was all wiremold; It still had a SMALL analog TV; The furnishings were probably at least 20 years old (not old enough to be antiques), etc.... This hotel has great potential if they would do a MAJOR renovation."
