"I LOVE staying at the Ryse!! I’ve stayed at the Ryse 3 times now and it’s almost always my go-to whenever I visit Seoul. The staff are very professional and friendly, the rooms are nice & clean, and it is close to the train station and steps away from Hongdae, which imo is the best area to stay at (closest from airport, best late-night restaurants, though further from everything else but can train to Myeongdong, Seongsu, Gangnam easily). "Rooms and bath are excellent. Super clean and large. Hallways dark, I know this saves electricity which I support but need a bit more light. Hall carpets not the cleanest, of course it had snowed recently and likely needed a good cleaning. I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Overall it was a pleasant stay. Never met the host in person but she responded by text. Only two suggestions - i) better to change the door passcode every time with a new guest, for guest's security, ii) improve the water heater condition so water can be hotter."
