"I stayed for one night and my main reason for choosing it was because it is round the corner from the venue of my work training course the next day. I was really impressed though and it was equally as good as, if not better than, more well known hotel chains. I'll stay again for certain. It's ideal for any event or reason for visiting Manchester and because it's near the tram stop it's good no matter what railway station you arrive at. I look forward to a more leisurely visit so I've got time to try the breakfast and the bar. The room was excellent and I slept brilliantly. The bathroom was modern with high quality products and there was an excellent telly and kettle and in room refreshments. The colour scheme is great and gives the brand a character that I'm sure will become a well known symbol of quality in the hospitality world And the staff were superb. A credit to their employer and the city "

"From initial check-in to checking out I would have to say this 3-night stay has been memorably great. Located just 2 miles from the airport, and okay it's a little restricted on public transport options, but otherwise this hotel is perfect for an 'airport hotel' being it's main purpose. My room #346 was comfortable & clean, and fairly quiet overlooking the rear of the building. Facilities within the room were good, with usual the tea & coffee, TV, strong & dimmer lighting plus a fan & ironing equip. Bathroom was super clean, spacious and had an impressive shower. The included breakfast was very good, tasty and included all the choices you'd expect. Now, the staff: I have to mention this is probably the best group of hotel staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. Quite honestly, they were ALL that good, extremely pleasant & efficient. Whether staying here prior to flying out on holiday, for business or a leisurely stay(like mine), it's the perfect start & lasting impression. I must mention a few who were just simply exceptional though. Holly who checked me in and has the most amazing manner & smile. I had a couple of further encounters with her remarkable ways during my stay. Others who stood out were Steven, Fi Fi, Andrea, Lyndsey & housekeeper Maria. Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of them, and you could feel their sincerity. This is my very first experience of staying at a Holiday Inn(Express or otherwise), but will certainly not be my last.👏"
