"I have not stayed in that many Crown Plazas, but have spent too many nights at Marriott properties. So this Crown Plaza is five minutes walk from Masjid Nabawi (South Gates, #305) and extremely convenient from that perspective. It is like a mainline Marriott. Very clean and comfortable beds. Well soundproofed. The breakfast was good. Negatives were that some of the physical infrastructure was not that well maintained. The electric teapot was leaking. "It was bad experience to stay in this hotel. The management was non cooperative and stubborn. I made reservations for two nights two months ago but the hotel system booked only for one night. I requested to extend for another night on site but management refused to do that. I can’t tell how was it difficult to find the room in another hotel and my family was so frustrated that we couldn’t perform umra comfortably. I will never stay in this hotel and will not recommend anyone. "

"Hotel was in perfect location, literally a 5 min walk directly to the mosque. Outside the mosque is the famous little global village huts. Hotel room was clean and very spacious and so was the bathroom, staff were super helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend for a stay in Madinah "
