It's a 2min walk to Paddington Station and I also found it easy to catch a black cab at the Hilton next to the station. Very quiet and safe area. "First impressions stay with you unfortunately. We checked in before our room was ready - absolutely no problem, On return, and after a very tiring day - we had to make 3 trips to and from reception as the key we were given didn’t work.
