"Overnight stay in Santa Cruz with my Wife - Hotel beds were terrible - Asked for double-Got singles and mine tipped over in the night sending me sprawling to the floor. "The hotel is basic a literally a room, reception is via another hotel a few doors up, convenient for shops and transport links. I made the mistake of assuming air conditioning was available but there isn’t any and it isn’t advertised as an amenity so the room was too hot for me. As a suggestion, a fan would be an option."
