"I booked a room at this hostel. I arrived 9pm at night. The hostel manager said they were fully booked so I had to look for alternative accommodation which was expensive. I requested a refund . Expedia had no reply from owner/manager after a few attempts at contacting the Guest house and so I was told I could not get my refund. If this sort of thing can happen then I will not use Expedia again. This is very unfair and unacceptable "

"We are a family of three with a 1-year-old kid, and Staying at Shalet Anagato was great. Beautiful, quiet and colourful place. Jesus was a loverly host ready to help and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We rented a car to reach the chalet and use it as a base to explore around and we will come back. "

Hard to find parking further up the street (not on-site) made worse by unfriendly reception staff. Roof access limited to certain hours. Quiet comfortable rooms with great showers and large beds."

"This is a superb hotel in a lovely neighborhood. We were half board and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also excellent but what made the restaurant so good is the staff and the manager Jose. The pool area is beautifully kept and there are plenty of sun loungers. The team at reception are lovely people and the staff who cleaned our room were extremely professional. "Out 5th stay at the Vallemar and standards remain consistently high. An excellent frontline hotel with a wonderful roof terrace and pool. The hotel restaurant overlooks the Lago Martínez and provides a large range of buffet style dishes with produce sourced from its own organic farm. The restaurant staff are professional and attentive. "Clean and most importantly quiet, far away from the drunken louts of Los Cristianos, we even slept well over New Year. Decent breakfast and lots of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. "The initial receptionist was ‘cool’ towards us on arrival. Other staff members were great, and on leaving the female receptionist was so helpful and friendly. It’s a great place to stay. Our bathroom still had previous occupants hairs in the shower, and there were clearly sewerage issues. The room itself was light, airy, and simple, buy comfortable.
