Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but they took up all the parking spaces and left us having to PAY to park underground. If you're going to have a TV show on then fair enough, but to make me pay for parking is bonkers - Staff were a bit blunt, again not a huge issue. But did make me feel a little unwelcome"

Ran more efficiently, less chaos. Area is pretty but disappointing as in the middle of nowhere. La Mata is pretty but very little there. Torrevijeca is as usual...

"Our room was large with a big bathroom. A lot of the floor tiles were however cracked and the lighting was poor. In fact a standard light didn't work. Wifi was fine and breakfast was good. The main negative was that the gym was closed for refurbishment - this really should have been advertised whilst completing the booking. Access to Elche by foot was excellent."

"The hotel was in an excellent position, opposite the Reina Sofia Park and just a short walk to the beach. I had a double for single occupancy but the bed was upstairs via a spiral staircase, which was unusual. The staff were all very friendly. The buffet style breakfast was excellent and had food to suit every nationality. The room had a large balcony too with a table and chairs and two sun loungers. At 114 Euros for three nights including breakfast this was very reasonable for this 4 Star...
