This was my 3rd time at the resort and my wife's 4th time visiting the property. I decided to upgrade us to the (,seven) area of the hotel. February is a busy month, our anniversary, my wife's birthday,and Valentine's Day. I wanted us to have a special weekend. That all changed when we exited the 7th floor and the elevator doors opened up we were bombarded with construction going on. The first step out of the elevator was onto a dirty construction floor covering. Only to hear the sounds of hammering, drilling, and sanding. When we got to our room the temperature was 66° I immediately turned on the heat and set it to 76°. My wife asked for 2 blankets from the front desk. Also to my surprise our room was missing a refrigerator. We went to dinner. We came back a little after 10:00 p.m. which was more than enough time for the room to warm up. To my surprise it was only 71°. I played with the thermostat and realized what was wrong and went downstairs and informed the front desk. Tired and a bit chilly we just went to sleep. We checked in on Thursday. Notified them about the thermostat the same day. Didn't get the blankets until after we got back that night from dinner after 10:00 p.m. Friday morning I was abruptly woken up out of my sleep by the fire alarm. The construction guys hit a water line and no hot water for a shower. Saturday morning I was woken up by the sound of jackhammering at 7:30am. Mya,Lauren, and Matt saved the day by resolving the problems.They saved the day!
