In the station is a food court with excellent dining options, and it is a short Uber or 20 minute walk up to the Nishiki market region for shopping (both upscale and more traditional). The amenities were excellent and the breakfast was very good. Staff service was amazing. We would not hesitate to stay here on every trip to Kyoto!"
