"Had a wonderful time is the Mesquite casita for a girl’s weekend. Casita is at the top of the property and very secluded and quiet. It had ample space and the pool was lovely although the filter was on for most of the day and causing the pool to overflow all day. We called twice about it and finally someone came to turn it off late afternoon. The beds were comfortable. The kitchenette severely lacked with no plates/utensils, no dish soap or sponge, one dish towel. Tiny coffee pot for a place that accommodates 6 people. Bring your own plates/napkins, plastic cups and utensils. There is a cafe/market on site that serves Starbucks coffee. The grounds were pretty, with many places to relax throughout, and the hotel portion was attractive, but everything could use some sprucing up. We did not go to the spa or bar/restaurant on site as it was very expensive. Great place to stay in Borrego Springs, though."

"We enjoyed our stay simple clean room with a comfortable bed. This is a no frills updated old school motel. Great for a nights stay. We chose it because it's pet friendly it met that need. Our 1 year old lab loved exploring the green area behind the motel has a great seating area for humans as well. Bonus there's a restaurant across the street which is pet friendly also. "
