The hotel is well positioned, walking distance from the train station and close to public transportation. "We had a very comfortable stay despite only staying one night. We stayed in a standard single bed for 2 travelers - the room felt a bit small with our 2 checked luggage and 2 carry-ons, it can feel especially tight if you have clam shell style luggage taking up space. "This hotel was so great! We loved having a view of the Shinkansen trains coming and going right out our window - but was completely soundproof to the outside! And being just across the street from Kyoto station was amazing - so easy to get anywhere then back again, and so many wonderful dining options just across the street!
