Historic Route 66 Hotels

"Hotel was OK. It is situated behind the Steak n Shake restaurant. The sign on the front door asks if you have removed all valuables from your car and if you locked your car which made me wonder if it would be safe. The hotel was an old hotel that was trying to be attractive to tourists. The lobby was clean. Hallways were clean also. The room was clean but the bath tub was filthy. The sink was plugged when we got there but the lobby attendant brought a snake to clear it. We chose to not...

"The front staff very friendly and the rooms though smaller than others we have stayed in was beautiful. The furniture was well crafted and definitely not the usual stock type We will be back. "

"Great front desk staff, super comfy bed and a nice big room! No elevator so make sure you can do stairs unless you request a main floor room. "

"Fine option for a one night stay while visiting local attractions and national parks. Clean, quiet and a decent enough but simple breakfast (but don't select the hard boiled eggs...they were like rubber). Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Good value for the price"

"Very nice hotel conveniently close to Hwy 44, along the historic Rte 66. Clean room, comfortable bed and quiet location. Bandanas BBQ restaurant just a couple doors down - close enough to walk to for delicious food! Will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in the area!"

"Could have used a heavier blanket. The tub was kind of slippery. I suggested some grip strips to make it a little safer. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel for a good price."

"Very unique hotel. Comfortable beds. Old hardwood floors creak loudly and you can hear other guests having fun at night. Road noise is also very loud inside the room."

"The only thing I did not like was the freight trains. That is not the fault of the property. Everything was great. I felt safe, the room was clean and other than the trains it was very quiet. I will be coming back in May."
