"This place is a real gem! Private deck overlooking the sea where whales are jumping, the waves crash into the pool and the landscaping is breathtaking. the pool is warm the closet hid a bed and there were tvs in the master bedroom and the living/dining room area. the dishwasher was dirty inside and some of the plates were not cleaned well but the views and quiet and ease of access to downtown and sight seeing was worth a few seconds of dish scrubbing. What a pleasure to stay in such a nice place...

"The only bad things were the television reception. Very poor quality. Master bedroom had problems with shower and water temperature. "

"This was the perfect location for our stay. We were a 1 mile drive from Magic Sands Beach and 1 mile drive to local shopping, dinning and entertainment! While we chose to drive everywhere, the location is totally walkable to all the attractions. Also, before booking I read reviews, and apparently other condos do not have AC. This one DOES have AC. "We had an amazing time on our trip. The cottage is clean and stocked with everyday kitchen items like pans, plates, coffee mugs, coffee pot etc. Dish soap is provided. We were thrilled to see a washer and dryer! The beds were comfortable as well. There is a full sized refrigerator to stock with food you can pick up from Costco in Kona. I loved the landscaping and enjoyed looking up all the flowers. We were able to drive less than 10 minutes to watch the sunrise every morning at the Black Sand...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef. We lucked out and had a third floor unit with an amazing view (there are a few units without a good view) that made it for us. Quiet, clean, and the staff was very friendly and responsive. "

"Loved the infinity pool"

"Property itself was very nice but the unit was older and was in need of some updates and repairs; cupboard doors did not close properly, stains and tears on sectional, ice maker broken on fridge etc… Also found nail clippings on the bathroom floor. Minor things, the pools and grounds were very nice though and we spent more time outside anyways."

"This place is 15-20 minutes up the hill from any beach. Do not let that stop you from staying here. Worth the drive. The condo is on hole 3 of the golf course. Great views. The pool is 100ft away. Everything is clean and well stocked. The communication with the management company was exceptional. Check in and out was easy."

"Beautiful luxury stay with amazing amenities and views. King size beds in both masters were so comfortable with great pillows too! Best sleep in years! Kitchen equipped with everything you would ever need "

"The grounds are pretty and the view from the tide pool and "beach" is beautiful. Unit is like being at ABNB. Condiments in frig, foil, plastic wrap, etc in cabinets. We had a great 3 day stay and would stay again. Only issue was mold in the shower, which I wiped off with a clorox wipe and the air conditioner must be timed because it would default back to 78 after 12 hrs. It also shut off and fan ran but it was 80 degrees over night until I turned it off and back on again. Then it started cooling...

"The location was excellent. You could walk out to multiple shopping and dining options. Our unit was well furnished in kitchen and beach acutriments. The bed was not comfortable. And putting a sqishy piece of foam on a mediocre matress does not help. Sheets and coverings lumped up and slid around. And a small item, but for this price you shouldnt need to but TP. But overall we liked it. Beach chairs, coolers, swim fins, beach towels all there."
