I liked the hotel and the location. The only negative was the parking lot. I am a small person and had a midize car. I found it very difficult to get in and out of my car. A larger person would not have fit

Was charged 25 per day for parking and some nights there were no spaces available. Also charged mandatory 'amenity" charge of 25 per day if you wanted coffe or a pool towel. And could not waive the fee if you wanted neither.

Slow, inefficient check in process. No on-site parking available; didn’t give me the option to purchase ahead of time, and was ‘sold out’ when we arrived, though there were cars in lot taking up two spaces each. Was supposed to get a room upgrade as a Gold VIP; was never offered and ended up with a noisy room on a low floor by the elevator with no view. No plug for the bathtub, and front desk couldn’t find one in the entire hotel. Was promised a $10 credit for in room drinks and was subsequently charged for them upon checkout. Terrible experience overall, and a poor value for the price paid. Very disappointed. Hotel really has zero amenities. They charge a $25 daily amenity fee in the off chance you want to do yoga in the morning by the pool. Can’t opt out.

The young lady at the front desk when we checked in was rude. She did not smile when she greeted us. Parking spaces were soo small for a van. Our room key stopped working and then not at all we had to be let in by front desk after we stood there because no one was there. Should off free coffee what was the resort fee for????? Would not spend the money to stay here again

Paid Expedia 1701.00 for 7 days Was told I had to pay 206.43 at the resort. Fine. Checking out, Hotel shows 1399.00 payment credit not 1701. Was told I had to pay additional 389.00 for overnite parking and guest amenities ( both were included in original 1701.00 charge) Wound up paying additional 689 on top of the 1701.00. Hotel and Expedia double billing. Complete rip off.

Thé staff were great. The pool area was lovely and there were many places to sit comfortably in the lobby and on the patio. Coffee in the lobby each morning was good. It was a short walk to the ocean. There were no towel rods at all.

Staff was rude and unwelcoming especially the lady in tbe office where we left our luggage because our room wasn’t ready. I asked her if it was safe due to the fact it wasn’t secure and she responded with a very snarky “I’m not going to go through your luggage”. Then I had to go back and look for my car keys I had misplaced and she said, “I think your room should be ready , just tell the front desk I said your room is ready because I think that would be a better idea than trying to hang out with me.” I then realized she must be the manager…. How she got that job is s head scratcher. First of all the workd doesn’t revolve around You sistah and not everything is about you…. Try have some common sense. Nobody trying to hang out with you. I was looking for my keys and when I asked about my luggage being secure was not a question about you, it was about the safety of my stuff. Also, if my room was all of a sudden ready why not just let me check in when I arrived at 3:27pm. Also, when you checked us in you gave us a room without the upgrade I paid for. Lucky the nice guy when we checked out refunded us the upgrade fee. Property is decent, a bit dated, parking sux, but room was clean, bed comfortable and it is walkable to many cute shops and restaurants. Just don’t expect a welcoming feel and if you wanna check in before 4pm I would recommend going into the managers office and trying to get something out of your unsecured luggage.

While the rooms/building itself is quite old it has been modernized and has updated decor and furniture. The mini-split ac did a good job keeping the room comfortable and was quiet. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a nice balcony that over looked a lovely garden. The only downsides were in the bathroom. There is no vent fan so lots of moisture build up when you take a shower. Also there was a motion sensing (dusk to dawn) light over the shower that came on when we went to the bathroom in the middle of the night (no way to turn it off), this was very bright (not like a night light) and blinding.
