"Beautiful wooded location. Clean comfortable room. There is an interesting animal reserve next door. Lots of free parking. My only suggestion for improvement is to provide a bar of soap and shampoo. "We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"

"One of my favorite hotels ever! The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, including the beds - I sleep badly at most hotels but slept peacefully here. Bathrooms also five star. The staff was very helpful and sorted out a reservation issue (my fault) with no hassles. Nice location, walkable to many restaurants and shops. Plus there is a bus station right outside and the hpf (trains) are a block away. Amazing value for the price. "
