"Ideally located within this small village. Staff were very friendly and we were able to park a few hundred yards up the road. The restaurant was lovely and we had a great breakfast. We stayed in a suite/family room. It was clean and a great space, but very dated and could do wuth a refresh. Felt like it was in the 80s. But that said we had a good stay and would go back."

"Traditional from the outside but modern inside. Also very close to the centre. Comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. If I am being picky the pillows were not comfortable but otherwise perfect for our 2 night stay."

"We booked to stay here while attending the F1 Grand Prix in Spa, 29 miles away. It was convenient, very clean, had spacious rooms and was a pleasant stay. The only negative was that there are no staff onsite (all automated) and therefore no breakfast options. Not even tea or coffee making in rooms! I’d stay again, but I’d take a kettle with me. The only options for food within walking distance are McDonald’s and Burger King, which my 14 yr old loved but I wasn’t so keen. We did buy food in Lidl...

"Check in was easy as completed on line. Our room (22) was like going back to the 80’s but was clean, fully functional and quite big. Brekkie offering was plentiful, selection of cereals, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, breads, preserves, dried and fresh fruit, tea, coffee, selection of doughnuts also the option of eggs and crispy bacon cooked to order. "Ambiente war gut, Zimmer ok aber Ferneher funbktionierte nicht. Unterbringung im Dachgeschoß bei fast leerem Hotel war nicht optimal. Kein Aufzug, aber historisches Gebäude. Restaurant: kleine Karte, ok, aber überteuerte Preise. Frühstück nicht überzeugend. Wir werden nicht wieder dort übernachten."

"It is a great location. The rooms are a little worn. My shower had problems with drainage. I asked the staff to fix it and nothing happened. I told them again when I checked out. She said she would have someone loo at it. I prepaid for my reservation on Orbitz but then they charged my credit card when I checked-out. I can't seem to get this resolved and it is very frustrating"
