"Very good overall. Just a few small gripes that would make it perfect - plug sockets by the bed in annexe were odd, fitted the lamps which had round pins on the plugs but not a normal UK phone charger. Water too hot in sink tap and not a mixer, so either washed hands in cold water or burnt them. One tap moving around a lot and needs tightening up. Evening meal a little expensive, but excellent service and good choice. Plentiful

Only small issue was how noisy it was from the town side in the mornings with cars etc driving up and down with deliveries as we had a room right at the front of the building, would had been happier with a room at the back with less noise unless the windows could be redone to reduce sound"

"We stopped over for one night with our two kids and our dog. The staff could not have been more friendly, and they were very helpful in giving us advice about places and events to check out in Bristol. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were glad we had booked one of the rooms with air conditioning as it was a warm night: we had cool air in the bedroom, and thanks to underfloor heating our feet were still nice and warm on the tile floor in the bathroom. We were impressed with how dog friendly the hotel was, with water bowl by the front door and treats on the reception desk. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable time and great value for money. We will be staying again!"
