"We will definitely be back the next time we visit the Smoky Mountains. The property is clean, super inexpensive and the staff were really nice and accommodating. Understand that this is an older hotel, but it has a lot of vintage vacation charm. It’s like something from the 1980’s. The beds were comfortable and the water was hot. Our room had a microwave and mini fridge,which was very useful. We stopped at Aldi in Pigeon Forge and stocked up on bread,cheese and drinks to offset the high prices of everything in town. The breakfast was good and there’s a nice little park directly behind the hotel. Although there is no jacuzzi, it was hot enough that we enjoyed the pool. "

"Bearskin Lodge was a hit w/our family! The staff (Emily) was super friendly and accommodating about checking us in early, as there was a room available. She made sure we knew about about afternoon lemonade and cookies. The room was spacious and the view of the river was nice. Just the way they advertised. (Not a complaint, but wish - there somewhere to put 2 full size luggage.)"

"The hotel is very clean and the rooms are comfortable. They are not located near all of the businesses in Gatlinburg, but do offer a free parking pass for a garage on the parkway. We’ve stayed at several hotels in the area and this is one of our favorites!"

"Such a nice hotel. Great amenities and close to the main strip to walk and shop. I will say the lady at the front desk that checked us in was not very pleasant. Other than that the staff was friendly and we really enjoyed our stay!"
