"Beautiful hotel, great service and the Blok restaurant was very nice. Disappointing with such limited use of spa facilities, which we couldnt use due to the timing of our evening meal, amd breakfast. Overall a lovely hotel though, would stay again but be a little more savvy with planning to maximise the stay. One thing to bare in mind is the additional costs for your stay. £25 early check in, £18 breakfast (pp), extra cost to use the outdoor heated pool and, of course, treatments at circa £90pp...

Car park a bit tricky to find - but the instructions on hotel website are very clear and better than Sat Nav. "Very friendly welcome and lovely old pub with friendly locals and good pub food. Great service and felt very welcome from moment I arrived. Decor in rooms a little bit tired and accommodation simpler maybe than some would like but good for me - bathroom great and for the money, perfectly fine.
