The room was very clean & the bed was very comfortable, we had a spa treatment each too which was amazing but we did have a minor discrepancy regarding payment which was soon rectified & spa facilities excellent. "After we found parking, we checked in- it was easy. The receptionist was friendly. The hotel location is good - in the pretty town centre with good amenities very close by. Room was comfy, basic but had everthing we needed for our 1 night stop over. We slept well but scratching above woke us a few times. (There were visible rats about the area)."

"I arrived on New Years Eve, but the property hadn't warned me that the only food option was a three course meal at £44.50. Similarly on New Years Day, I went early for dinner at 6.15 to be told the kitchen closed at 6. No one had alerted me to the early closure. They did make me some Tapas. If I had known I would have eaten elsewhere before returning to hotel. The food on New Years Day was excellent, I just didn't want to spend that much money. "
